The economic damage and consequences are enormous:
- annual costs due to fires of around one billion euros
- insurance premiums rise enormously or insurance cover for fire risks is completely cancelled
- massive restrictions in operational processes
- authorities and neighbours even demand closures
- significant environmental and climate impact
Detecting smouldering fires early on, even outside operating hours, is a real challenge for recycling sites.
The use of drones allows smouldering fires to be identified more quickly, thus preventing large-scale fires.

The solution
One or more automatically flying drones fly over the open-air storage area at short intervals outside operating hours.
Our specially developed detection module and specially trained AI enable smouldering fires within the stockpiles to be detected earlier.
Firefighting measures can be initiated before the fire spreads and causes a full-scale blaze.

- The hangar is installed on a roof or open space
- Warden Robotics software is linked to your control centre
- The route of the drones is defined based on potential hazards and obstacles
- In the event of a fire, the control centre and a defined group of people are alerted
